Emma Domb – From 1939 through the 1970s, this California based dressmaker specialized in prom and party dresses.
Lilli Diamond – Started by Al Diamond, and named for his beloved wife, this was a label known for its “sexy and flamboyant” cocktail dresses designed to showcase women’s figures. Dresses were sold in upscale boutiques and department stores throughout the USA and Frederick’s of Hollywood was their biggest retailer.
Vogue Couturier Design – Labels came with these specialty patterns which featured designers like Pertegaz of Spain, Fabiani, Simonetta, and Federico Forquet of Italy, or Michael of England. Dresses with this label were most likely made at home.
